Presented by: Rick Peyser – Lutheran World Relief
Nepal has 30,000 mostly small-scale coffee farmers, nearly all growing coffee as “subsidiary” crop because lack of access to markets made it unprofitable. Rick Peyser of Lutheran World Relief just returned from visiting Nepal with a lot of feedback to share on its current state of production and well-being. In this 1-hour Webinar, Rick will discuss the how Nepal’s national and international specialty coffee markets are beginning to open and production is increasing, but the country will need a lot of assistance to improve coffee quality, from tree to cup, to make it attractive to exporters on a wide scale.
If you can’t make this time on short notice, this webinar will be recorded and you are able to watch free anytime.
